Colonna Palace

Among the oldest buildings in Rome – located in the very heart of the capital, just a few steps from Piazza Venezia – and still inhabited by the same family that started the construction in the 12th century, Palazzo Colonna is the flower in the eye of the Roman aristocracy. Built over the course of three centuries, the residence boasts countless wings, superbly salt decorated and a mix of artistic and architectural styles. The main attraction of the Palace is the Colonna Gallery, a Roman Baroque jewel decorated with magnificent works by Tintoretto, Pinturicchio, Perugino, Veronese and others important artists.
