New year marks new era for Pullman

Midnight on 31 December 2014 marked the start of a new era for Pullman Melbourne on the Park, as the iconic hotel rebranded effective 1 January 2015.

Pullman Melbourne on the Park, previously trading as Hilton on the Park, stands in the prestigious address of 192 Wellington Parade, East Melbourne, a stone’s throw from Melbourne’s principal sports and entertainment precinct.

The 419-room landmark property stands on the site of the significant 100-room Clivedon mansion which was once home to Sir Keith Murdoch. Touches of the mansion remain in the hotel’s top William Clarke Suite, which comes complete with a stately marble fireplace.

In 2015, the hotel will plan a refurbishment of its lobby, restaurant and bar areas, all aimed at bringing it in line with global Pullman standards.
