The stage was set for a taste of Hawaiian (as well as Thai, Fijian, Mauritian and Maldivian) hospitality when the sun set over Darling Harbour on Thursday evening, lighting the rooftop L’Aqua with a tropical glow.

Outrigger Resorts, on track to becoming the premier beachfront resort brand in the world, was out in all its glory to present its vision for the future at its 2015 Global Showcase. LATTE, media guests and travel agents mingled with senior sales and marketing and PR representatives for each of Outrigger Resorts’ key regions (namely Hawaii, Phuket, Fiji, Mauritius and the Maldives, with the Outrigger Konotta Maldives Resort due to enter its soft opening phase in August), as well as key partners including airlines and the Waikiki Beach Walk.

Representing the founding Kelley family at the showcase was Bitsy Kelley, Vice President Corporate Communications, who spoke not only of her grandparents’ experience in creating Outrigger in Hawaii but also of its defining qualities of authenticity and world-class hospitality in shaping the future.
