With the introduction of its 2015 summer schedule, Lufthansa has reinstated its night flight, LH 405, which departs New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport at 21:55 and arrives in Frankfurt at 11:35 the following day with a Boeing 747-8.

The afternoon flight, LH 401, remains constant, with an Airbus A380 departing JFK at 15:55 and arriving in Frankfurt at 05:30 the following morning.

This latest flight schedule offers even more travel choices and better connections to the Lufthansa Group Airlines’ network of over 260 destinations in 100 countries, and with Lufthansa’s A380 and 747-8 now both serving JFK, passengers will benefit from an even better travel experience.

Lufthansa’s premium products and service features, now available on all Lufthansa flights to and from JFK, include a modern cabin design, new service concepts and the most up-to-date on-board amenities in all classes.

Lufthansa first launched service to and from New York in June 1955, making JFK an essential market for the past 60 years. With the return of the popular evening flight, this gateway will accommodate the increased travel demands that the summer months normally bring.
