British Airways is making enjoying the winter sun even easier for customers this year with extra flights from Gatwick being added to the airline’s schedules.

From 27 October additional seats will be up for grabs on seven extra flights a week to Funchal, Faro, Seville and Turin.

The flights are now available to book through ba.com and are scheduled to operate until the end of March, 2016.

“Our flights to European sunshine destinations are proving very popular with customers, which is why we are laying on even more flights to a cope with the extra demand for seats … It’s great that we’re able to offer such a diverse range of places to fly to,” said Lynne Embleton, British Airways’ managing director Gatwick.

The extra flights come on top of 48 additional flights to 14 European destinations this October half-term from Gatwick.

The additional October services include flights to Bari, Cagliari, Catania, Naples, Malaga, Ibiza, Heraklion, Rhodes, Thessaloniki, Paphos,
Dubrovnik and Faro as well as new routes Dalaman and Bodrum.

British Airways flights include a generous free cabin baggage allowance, free online check-in, seat allocation and complimentary food and drink on board.
