Having recently celebrated their third anniversary and the launch of a new website, Secret Retreats have launched ‘Voyage’, a three tier program, that rewards loyalty members with up to 5% cash back among other benefits.

Sophie Couturier, Head of Sales and Marketing, believes “it is important to show that our beautiful, boutique properties can also be affordable. Some of the deals listed are quite exceptional, especially in low season, and show tremendous value to our customers.”

Reserved only for the Secret Retreats members, is an intranet feature called “Tribe Members.” This creates access for members to share information, swap rooms, exchange staff or chefs for cross-training experiences, or even collaborate on secret recipes. It provides a portal of mutual support enabling discussions related to topics such as operating hotels in remote areas, sustainable practices or marketing.

Maintaining their commitment to sustainable tourism, unused points can be redeemed in cash and donated to charities and foundations supported by the Secret Retreats properties.

The owner of Misool Eco Resort, Marit Miners, emphasised “It is important for us to be associated with owners who share the same mission and respect the same values. We (at Misool), have been fighting the battle against shark finning for many years. It would not be acceptable for us to be associated with other properties who do not respect similar attitudes and care for their environment…”
