Amanera - Golf Course

Aman has announced the launch of Amanera, scheduled to open in the Dominican Republic in late 2015.

Overlooking Playa Grande Beach, Amanera will be the first golf-integrated Aman, situated along the Playa Grande Golf Course, renowned for having the most ocean-side holes in the Western hemisphere.

Designed by John Heah, the resort is perched on 60-foot cliffs and features 25 Casitas rather than traditional rooms or suites, that reflect the landscape of the surrounding region.

Each of the one-bedroomed Casitas enjoys unobstructed ocean vistas from an expansive terrace, outdoor seating and lounging areas and through floor-to-ceiling windows from the spacious, high-ceilinged living and sleeping areas. Every Casita is accessed via a winding pathway through a private garden and 13 Casitas feature their own 10-metre private swimming pools.

Guests will also enjoy access to the Aman Clubhouse, fitness centre, tennis courts and the Aman Spa.
