Plaza Premium Lounge Management has launched an independent lounge located in the Departure Transit Hall of Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1.

Spanning over 7,000-square feet, the lounge features over 140 signature Honeycomb seats, positioned before the runway scenery of one of the busiest airports in the world.

Three private resting suites in addition to the main lounge, accommodate one to three persons, offering a quiet enclave for those wanting to catch a quick rest before heading to their next destination.

Also on offer are six shower rooms with amenities, two VIP rooms for special guests, as well as an exclusive area for massage and nail care services. Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided throughout the lounge in addition to plug sockets for tablets, laptops and mobile phones.

The new lounge introduces live cooking stations, where guests can enjoy an interactive airport dining experience where chefs prepare favourite local dishes upon request.

Song Hoi-see, founder and chief executive of Plaza Premium Lounge Management, commented: “We are very excited to be in Singapore Changi Airport – one of the world’s best airports with over 54 million passengers travelling through annually.

“We first introduced the independent lounge concept in Singapore Changi Airport in 2002, and in our return we promise to raise the bar and take the airport experience to the next level for our guests.

“Our presence here is key to our international growth strategy and in particular, in the Asean region.

“In addition to the Wellness Spa and The Green Market, we look forward to partner with the airport once again, to provide an enhanced experience for all airport travellers with the opening of Plaza Premium Lounge Singapore.”
