The most authentic way to taste Tequila

The Hotel Solar de las Ánimas, operated by Tequila Espiritu de Mexico, exhibitors at ILTM Asia 2015, demonstrates the extent to which the tequila tourism industry has grown since its founding in 2003. The hotel, located in Tequila, Mexico, launched successfully earlier this year, boasting 93 rooms, El Patio restaurant, Sky Bar complete with plunge pool and views of the Tequila volcano and town centre.

Now Tequila Espiritu de Mexico offers gourmands the chance to travel aboard the Jose Cuervo Express, a luxury passenger train that offers travellers views of agave-enveloped landscapes. For those participating in the ‘Express Experience’ they will be seated in one of three passenger wagons that accommodate 62 passengers in each, decorated with wood-panel walls and designed for maximum comfort, particularly for families.

The ‘Premium Experience’ allows guests to select an area of the Dining or Lounge wagon, both with a capacity of 52 passengers each. Tables for four people allow the sampling of traditional Mexican cuisine.

The Jose Cuervo Express® leaves the Ferromex station in Guadalajara all Saturdays at 11am for a day in Tequila.
