Second half of Thredbo’s snow season kicks off with fresh powder

The snow gods have delivered 30cm of fresh powder to Thredbo in the past 24 hours, covering the Thredbo Resort in a white blanket all the way down to the village.The conditions are looking ideal to kick off the second half of the snow season with more snow expected throughout the day and across the coming week.“This snow dump really came out of nowhere, but we’re definitely not complaining,” Thredbo Resort Operations Manager Stuart Diver said. “It has set us up perfectly for the start of spring, proving winter certainly isn’t over yet – it just keeps on delivering the goods!”The resort has welcomed the snowfall with open arms, just in time for visitors to take advantage of the numerous September Snow Specials on offer in spring; including Thredbo’s Kids Ski Free in September promotion, as well as the Torah Bright Beginner Packs, where first timers get a free day skiing or boarding in September.
