Privately-owned tour company, Nordic Luxury, specialising in the exploration of Iceland, Greenland, Norway, Finland, Denmark and Sweden, began the season with a Northern Lights display appearing over its new River Lodge in Iceland.The Lodge is situated next to the volcano Hekla in the South and is only just over an hour from the capital Reykjavik. Nordic Luxury is preparing the Lodge will all the equipment needed for autumn, including fly-fishing gear, skis for heliskiing, snowshoes, hunting gear and super Jeeps.unnamed (14)Nordic Luxury also announced Iceland’s most significant new attraction, the man-made ice cave. The ice tunnel and caves are located high on Europe’s second-largest glacier, Langjökull. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to explore the glacier and see it from the inside.
