Cathay Pacific Airways will launch a new 4-times-weekly service to Madrid on 2 June 2016. As the only direct link between Hong Kong and the Spanish capital, the new service will provide greater convenience for business and leisure customers travelling between the two cities and give passengers travelling from Australia easy access to this key European city.Tickets for the new Madrid service are now on sale, and the Spanish capital has been included in CX’s Earlybird fares for 2016 with return Economy Class fares from Australia to Madrid starting from $1556 ex Sydney, $1541 ex Melbourne, $1559 ex Brisbane, $1554 ex Cairns, $1543 ex Adelaide and $1536 ex Perth.To ensure passengers enjoy a superior inflight experience, CX will operate flights using a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft fitted with the airline’s award-winning Business Class, new Premium Economy and long-haul Economy Class seats.
