Hotel Clasico launches in the Palermo Hollywood neighborhood of Buenos Aires, as the latest hospitality instalment from Adolfo Suaya.As a hotelier and restaurateur, Adolfo boasts an impressive collection of brands that have included Dolce, Geisha House, Surley Goat, Bar Delux, Goa, Osaka, Phoenix, The Lodge, Casa Suaya, Boho and Gaucho Grill, to name a select few.Adolfo’s taste for the cuisine of his native country Argentina, is uniquely played out via his partnership with Jessica Lederman’s Möoi restaurant. Jessica, is a celebrated chef and designer of cuisine that is both flavourful and artful in its presentation.MiddleArchitecture & DesignThe decor and style of the building was designed by Estudio Zatloukal, who’s lead architects include Jorge Zatlouka and Ciara McGonigal. The influence incorporates Argentina’s rich history, juxtaposing antiquity with modernity. The hotel’s main design theme is classic French, taking inspiration from Belle Epoque or “Beautiful Era”.The hotel currently has 32 rooms and four floors. Each floor boasts a bold and unique color palate and features art installations that are indicative of South American history and pop culture.The hotel’s art photo collection includes exclusive works by FotoRuta and mixes nostalgia with pop culture and Argentinian cinema. The elevators are covered in a quilted leather, and each floor pays homage to different women of Argentine cinema, some of which include Amelia Bence,Tita Merello, and Coca Sarli.BottomRestaurant- MooiDuring his travels, Adolfo worked extensively with chef Jessica Lekerman of Möoi restaurant, which first opened its doors in Belgrano in 2010, and recently opened its second location at Hotel Clasico. Jessica, known for her healthy cuisine style, uses fresh ingredients and produce that she collects from local markets.
