Starwood Hotels has announced the introduction of its Tribute Portfolio brand in Indonesia with the signing of The Hermitage, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Jakarta.“The signing of The Hermitage, Jakarta marks Starwood’s continued expansion in one of the region’s most booming markets,” said Rajit Sukumaran, Senior Vice President, Acquisition & Development, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Asia Pacific. “The Hermitage is an iconic property with rich history and grandeur, and we look forward to working closely with PT. Menteng Heritage Realty to create distinct experiences for our SPG members and guests.”The Hermitage, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Jakarta will feature 90 spacious guest rooms and elegant suites, as well as nearly 400 square meters of function space, including a grand ballroom and meeting room. Guests will enjoy luxurious facilities, including a fitness centre and relaxing rooftop infinity pool that overlook the glittering Jakarta skyline. Additionally, the hotel houses four different restaurant and bar destinations, offering a wide range of international cuisines and locally-inspired dining experiences. Guests can partake in light fare such as patisseries from the al fresco Courtyard Café, or revel in the panoramic views of La Vue Rooftop while sipping on one of the bar’s many signature cocktails.The Hermitage occupies an Art Deco building built in 1923 which once housed the Dutch telecommunications office, the “Telefoongebouw.” The hotel is located just 45 minutes from the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.
