A new Bar Car christened ‘3674’ is unveiled aboard the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. ‘3674’s’ new interiors feature vibrant blues and golds, reflecting the iconic livery of the historic carriages and patterns inspired by the train’s marquetry. ‘3674’ is the social hub of the legendary Venice Simplon-Orient-Express and the scene of many a celebration from romantic proposals to milestone anniversaries and birthdays. Gathered together in the bar car, guests are transported to a by-gone era of elegance.Head Barman Walter Nisi has created a new cocktail menu for the 2016 season and a new caviar menu has been developed in collaboration with world famous caviar producer, Petrossian.Delicacies on the menu include, shots of Alverta Royal caviar, caviar cubes and sandwiches using ‘papierusse’, a fine sheet of pressed caviar.Venice Simplon-Orient-Express brings to life the romance and nostalgia of the golden age of travel with its luxurious 1920s and 1930s carriages. The elegant surroundings invite travellers to dress up and celebrate. Michelin-standard food is served in the beautiful Art Deco dining cars, with an ever changing landscape as the train travels through Europe.Venice Simplon-Orient-Express journeys across Europe from March to November each year. Prices start from £2,210 per person sharing a double cabin includes all meals served on board.
