The limited-edition black truffle menus at Crown Perth’s word-class restaurants are set to captivate senses from 18 July to 28 August.Featuring premium West Australian manjimup truffle from Stonebarn Trufflerie, guests are invited to celebrate the ‘diamond’ of WA ingredients with expertly crafted menus by the acclaimed head chefs at Silks, Modo Mio, Nobu and Bistro Guillaume.Silks Master of Cantonese cuisine, Pat Cheong, showcases the truffle’s unique taste and texture with dishes including duck wonton consommé with freshly shaved truffle and braised pork belly with black truffle sauce.At Modo Mio, these local delights are at the heart of Alasdair Thompson’s authentic Italian cuisine comprising of veal cappelletti with truffle-infused goats cheese fetta, truffle risotto with quail breast and a tempting truffle and marsala semifreddo.Connoisseurs will be spoilt for choice at Nobu with Leif Huru’s creations such as braised wagyu striploin with truffle teriyaki sauce, warm cured ocean trout with shiitake truffle crumbs and a truffle and honey parfait.Or at Bistro Guillaume, Robert Murphy’s enticing menu including donnybrook marron with octopus and truffle carpaccio, braised wagyu short rib with truffle jus and a divine truffle cheesecake is sure to satisfy.When guests treat themselves to an item from the truffle menu at any of these restaurants, they can go into the draw to take home 200 grams of premium West Australian manjimup truffle from Stonebarn Trufflerie, valued at $500.
