Award-winning architect Joyce Wang has brought her contemporary design to The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong in the form of the new Apartment Suite. Located on the top floor, it has all the elements of a private, luxury residence: an entrance foyer with sliding glass doors; an open-plan living room with a spacious sofa; a study area; a dining space featuring a cocktail bar, pantry and table for six; a Gaggenau kitchen, perfect for catering while entertaining; walk-in wardrobes in the bedrooms; and sleek marble bathrooms.

Wang’s aesthetics are also apparent in the sophisticated colour palette of gold, caramel and blue, the bespoke artwork, and the hand-tufted rugs on hardwood floors. State-of-the-art tech abounds, from the high-definition televisions to the Bluetooth-connected entertainment system.

Guests are invited to enjoy the new suite to the full with the Central Retreat package, which includes chauffeured transfers, flexible check-in and out, credit for use at The Oriental Spa and at two-Michelin-starred restaurant Amber, plus a tailor-made spa experience in the deep, round soaking tub.
