 With Perisher‘s opening weekend just two weeks away (Saturday 10 June), Australian snow-lovers are getting reading for another Epic season, offering great value on the Epic Australia Pass. Skiers and snowboarders looking to take on the season at Perisher, as well as Vail Resorts‘ incredible stable of ski areas in the US, plus Canadian newcomer, Whistler Blackcomb, have the opportunity to purchase the pass until Monday 12 June 2017. Priced at AU$849 for adults, AU$479 for students and AU$566 for seniors, the Epic Australia Pass pays for itself in just under four of days skiing.To celebrate the upcoming season, Vail Resorts hosted an Epic Rooftop Cocktail Party with incredible views of the Sydney CBD skyline at East Village in Darlinghurst. Rob Katz, CEO & Chairman of Vail Resorts, Inc., spoke of his excitement at welcoming one of Australia’s favourite overseas resorts – Whistler Blackcomb – to the Vail family, and looked forward to furthering the relationship between Australian skiers and riders, and Vail Resorts. He also mentioned the addition of Stowe, Vermont, to the group – a perfect destination for travellers bound for New York or Boston – and hinted at a future Asian member of Vail Resorts.Peter Brulisauer, COO of Perisher, is looking forward to another great season, with the arrival of new snow groomers and continued investment into the Skitube, the most popular way to arrive on the slopes. Perisher was also delighted to be named Australia’s Best Ski Resort at the World Ski Awards for the third time in recent years. The resort is the largest in the Southern Hemisphere, boasting 1245 hectares of terrain, located less than a six-hour drive from Sydney.
