Get Global, the one-day MICE trade event dedicated to outbound product, continued to add to its roster of globally renowned speakers mid-April, with the announcement that Contiki Holidays veteran, Mark Carter will speak at the event.Through a new partnership with ICMI Speakers & Entertainers, Get Global has introduced an educational element for its second year. Inspiration Corner, set right on the exhibition floor, will allow buyers and sellers alike to learn from remarkable speakers with global business and travel experience. All without leaving the event space.Mark Carter has over 20 years’ experience motivating and engaging audiences, from working with Contiki Holidays as tour director and industry trainer across Europe to inspiring hundreds of workplaces.
“We’ve all had to wrangle unruly delegates during an event. Mark’s experience of trying to manage thousands of 20-somethings spread in all corners of Europe, will make you grateful for your few hundred corporates on one island!” said Get Global co-founder, Donna Kessler. As Mark says, “a tour bus is a petri dish of human behaviour, and is the best way to get to know exactly how to work with all different types of people.” His stories will make you laugh, gasp but above all, challenge the way you think.”“It was important to listen to the feedback we received from our inaugural event in 2017. By inviting stimulating speakers to the Inspiration Corner, we can deliver an educational element at Get Global and give our attendees access to motivators they may not ever get the chance to see speak,” said Gary Bender, co-founder of the one-day event.
Combining his raconteur narrative, quick wit and vast experience, Mark Carter is a Get Global speaker not to be missed.Get Global – Where the World Meets, will be held at the International Convention Centre, Sydney on Friday 20 July 2018.
