Virtuoso’s Regional Director for Australia and New Zealand, Cristina Magni, has announced plans to return to Europe, leaving her role effective 31 October.Head of the luxury travel network’s local arm, Michael Londregan, announced the news today.“Cristina will be leaving to pursue personal fulfilment back in her homeland in Europe and on behalf of her Virtuoso team mates, Virtuoso members and Virtuoso partners we wish her all the best and thank her for her tremendous performance over the past three years,” the Virtuoso Asia-Pacific MD said.“The energy and commitment Cristina has given to the Virtuoso business and brand has contributed greatly to our current status and success. She will be missed at every level, not least as the brightest smile welcoming us to all Virtuoso events.”Magni said the past three years had been an incredible journey providing a unique, front-row opportunity to watch Australia’s travel industry dynamics.“I consider myself very fortunate to have been part of such a small and smart team led by Michael, and I’m going to miss my ‘mates’ very much,” Cristina said.BDM’s Michele Saunderson and Anna Davies will continue to support Virtuoso’s Australian and New Zealand members with Adrian Clarke working with Virtuoso’s product partners.Lead image: Cristina with Michael Londregan and Virtuoso CEO, Matthew Upchurch.
