Communal-style dining coming to Virgin Voyages fleet

Virgin Voyages has released new details of the dining options to be offered aboard its launch ship, Scarlet Lady. The range includes a number of specialty restaurants. The new-to-cruising company revealed it would not impose a surcharge on “sailors” dining at its finer establishments, choosing an “all in” pricing structure on nosh.Scarlet Lady will debut in 2020, offering some dining 20 venues. Below are renderings of the latest venues, which join eateries disclosed in May, such as The Test Kitchen and Pink Agave. The latest options include Wake, Razzle Dazzle, Geonbae, The Galley and Extra Virgin.At the aft of the ship will be the aptly named Wake, serving steak and seafood, as well as a “Sommelier-led Magnum menu”. Its bold design is designed by Concrete Amsterdam. The Red Bar at Razzle Dazzle – Scarlet LadyVirgin Voyages says it is “serving familiar favourites from breakfast to dinner, prepared from consciously sourced ingredients served in a fresh, no frills, and downright delicious way. There’s sure to be something here for every sailor from scrumptious toasts to juicy burgers and zesty, vibrant salads.
