Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Australasia is taking its CLIA LIVE events national with an expanded program in 2019.In addition to the East Coast and Auckland events that launched this year, CLIA Australasia & Asia Managing Director Joel Katz said CLIA LIVE will make its debut in Perth and Adelaide in the new year, while the New Zealand event has been extended to two days.“We had such a great response from our inaugural events that we’re thrilled to be taking CLIA LIVE to Adelaide and Perth for the first time. We’re also excited to offer our New Zealand members two full days of CLIA LIVE in Auckland,” Katz said.CLIA LIVE is an exclusive training event for CLIA agents which sees dozens of cruise industry representatives gather under one roof to provide insights into their brand during an action-packed, two-day program.“At CLIA LIVE, representatives from the world’s biggest ocean, river and expedition cruise lines gather together to share the latest on their brands including their unique selling points, target audiences and onboard guest experiences.“Because these events are exclusive to our members, we’re offering CLIA agents the chance to get ‘in the know’ and get ahead when it comes to selling cruise. These are must-attend events for anyone, whether you are new to cruise or have been selling cruise for many years,” Katz added.CLIA LIVE events will take place between March and September 2019 at:
  • Perth: Tuesday 12 and Wednesday 13 March
  • Adelaide: Tuesday 2 and Wednesday 3 April
  • Sydney: Tuesday 9 and Wednesday 10 April
  • Auckland: Tuesday 7 and Wednesday 8 May
  • Brisbane: Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 May
  • Melbourne: Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 September
CLIA members will earn 30 accreditation points for attending and can attend either or both days depending on their availability.All CLIA LIVE 2019 events are on sale now and cost $50 per person per day.Due to its popularity this year, CLIA LIVE events are expected to sell out and, therefore, CLIA encourages agents to book their tickets fast.
