Queensland’s newest outback luxury property, Mt Mulligan Lodge, has set an official opening date of 15 April 2019. The lodge accepted guests during a short soft-opening period at the end of 2018 through to early January, but has been closed since then as it prepares for the grand launch.Located on a 28,000-hectare outback property, guests staying at Mt Mulligan Lodge will be able to experience the spirit of North Queensland’s backcountry through a unique landscape and a place where people have lived and worked for tens of thousands of years.The lodge accommodates 16 guests and features eight luxury suites, a pavilion for meals and relaxation, an infinity pool and a sunset bar. Each room at Mt Mulligan Lodge is assigned its own ATV for self-guided tours.There are three cabin categories available:
  • Outback Room: Offering views overlooking the sparkling weir and the majestic Mount Mulligan, these stunning rooms are perfect for couples or people travelling as a duo. The rooms provide luxury in a laid-back and modern Australian style. Priced from $1,700 per night for two guests.
  • Outback Retreat: With same views as the Outback Room, these stunning retreats are perfect for couples looking for some extra space to unwind or for those with an additional guest. Priced from $2,400 per night for two guests, $550 for an additional adult or $275 for an additional child.
  • Outback Pavilion: Similar views to the Room and Retreat, the Pavilions are designed with families and groups in mind. Priced from $3,300 for four guests.
The new lodge is the latest offering by Northern Escape Collection, which also operates the Orpheus Island Lodge and Daintree Ecolodge.More information at https://www.mountmulligan.com/
