Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection previewed its 2020 program in Sydney last week at Hotel Centennial’s The Apartment. At the event, Managing Director Fiona Dalton revealed what to expect from Uniworld moving forward. Fiona Dalton, Managing Director for Uniworld AustraliaDalton spoke of Uniworld’s product elevation, starting in 2016 when the company introduced S.S. Joie de Vivre at a gala on the Seine in Paris. In the years since, Uniworld has revitalised their river cruise products, including U River Cruises and that division’s launch ship, The B in 2017 and The A in 2018. The revitalised S.S. Beatrice also premiered in Budapest last year.Just last month, Uniworld unveiled the transformation of the former River Royale, reborn as S.S. Bon Voyage. The S.S. Bon Voyage is the second ship in the fleet to be upgraded to Super Ship status, the first being The Sanctuary Yangtze Explorer in China, to be launched in the near future.But The Travel Corporation’s cruise division won’t be stopping anytime soon, with 2020 destined to be a huge year. Three brand new ships and another renovation will launch in 2020. Kick-starting the new year, Mekong Jewel will begin operation in Vietnam and Cambodia on 3 January, followed by the S.S. Sphinx in Egypt a day later on 4 January. S.S. Sao Gabriel will set sail in Portugal from 26 March as the newest ship on the Douro. Meanwhile, in France, the Venice-based River Countess will be reborn as S.S. La Venezia on 27 March.S.S. Bon Voyage - LaCaveDuVin S.S.
