Two-Michelin-starred chef Alexander Herrmann has introduced a new children’s menu on board all Lufthansa long-haul flights and long European flights from Germany this month. Pre-approved by an audience of children aged four to nine, the menu includes dishes such as rice pudding mousse (a composition of creamed rice pudding and raspberries), dragon feet (poultry sausages served with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes) and hen house. The new children’s menus can be ordered free of charge up to 24 hours before departure, in advance for all Lufthansa long-haul flights and for some long European flights for children under the age of 12.Since 2002, renowned chefs have been developing children’s meals for the approximately 2.2 million young guests who travel with Lufthansa every year. In recent years, Johann Lafer, Sarah Wiener and Cornelia Poletto, among others, have provided fun and variety on the journey with their children’s meals.Further information on booking children’s menus can be found at https://www.lufthansa.com/us/en/childrens-menus-on-board
