Crystalbrook Collection has expanded its Australian east coast portfolio, adding The Byron at Byron Resort & Spa to its stable of five-star hotels and resorts.The 92-suite resort is positioned in a 18-hectare subtropical rainforest a short drive from Byron Bay in New South Wales. The luxury beachfront retreat features an infinity pool, day spa, tennis court and one-hatted restaurant.
The acquisition of Byron at Byron brings Crystalbrook Collection’s portfolio to over 1,100 rooms in operation or under development across seven properties in New South Wales and Queensland.Crystalbrook Collection owner Ghassan Aboud said the group was “thrilled” to be introducing Byron at Byron to Crystalbrook Collection. “The acquisition of this fantastic asset signifies our continued quest for growth in Australia and the region.”Byron at Byron will commence trading under Crystalbrook Collection later this year with further details to follow in the coming months.Crystalbrook Collection Acting CEO and Group Director, Hotels, Geoff York says: “Byron at Byron fits seamlessly with our existing personality-driven hotels and resorts.
