Quark Expeditions has unveiled a new Polar Learning Channel (PLC) designed for both travel advisors and consumers to expand their knowledge on the polar regions. The PLC platform is updated with fresh content on a weekly basis, featuring videos, information, interviews, a colouring-in competition and two webinars (one for adults and another family-friendly session). The webinars are recorded and posted to the website as well. In the weeks to come an option to participate in the webinars live in Australian time will be made available. To help spread the word for the PLC in this region, Quark is running a colouring-in competition, open to anyone and everyone in Australia and New Zealand. Travel agents are encouraged to share the competition with their audiences and communicate this via social media and consumer media.
The polar bear or penguin colouring-in sheets can be accessed on the Polar Learning Centre website and printed off at home. There will be two categories for judging- under 16 and over 16 – with three $50 EFTPOS gift cards given away per category. Entries need to be submitted via email to sarah.arane@quarkexpeditions.com by 5pm Monday 4 May. Submissions need to include name, age (under or over 16 is fine!) and state/country.Winners will be chosen by the Quark Expeditions team and announced on 6 May with winners contacted via email. For more details and to access the colouring in sheets (pictured below), see explore.quarkexpeditions.com/polar-learning-channel
