Rocco Forte Hotels has announced the signing of a management agreement to operate a five-star address in Milan in via della Spiga. The project will be the first Rocco Forte hotel in the Lombard capital.The property is currently operated by Baglioni Hotels & Resorts, operating as The Baglioni Hotel Carlton.
The luxury hotelier’s seventh hotel in Italy, The Carlton Milano will enrich the ideal Grand Tour by Rocco Forte Hotels, together with the already prestigious addresses in Florence, Rome, Sicily and Puglia.The collection will count 16 realities, considering the openings in Villa Igiea (Palermo) and The Westbund (Shanghai) in 2021 and the Rocco Forte House concept in Rome.The Milan hotel will be completely refurbished to offer around 70 rooms and suites, a restaurant and a lounge bar, a wellness centre with gym and spa, a terrace bar on the top floor with an enviable view on Milan.Inauguration for the project is earmarked for the first months of 2023.Lead image: Milan Galleria | credit: Tuur Tisseghem for Pexels.
