Hyatt Hotels Corporation has flagged an early 2021 launch date for its first new-build Alila branded property in the United States. Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas will open in the beach town bearing the same name, located north of San Diego, California.Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas will be the second Alila property in the US, joining Ventana Big Sur, an Alila Resort, also in California. The brand has 14 other luxury properties around the world, nearly half of which are found in Indonesia.
Situated along coastal bluffs and overlooking Grandview and South Ponto Beaches, Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas will be a luxury oceanfront hotel with 114 guestrooms, 10 junior suites, four premier suites and two presidential suites. It will offer an oceanview restaurant with a rooftop patio, a pool with a pool bar and an infinity-edge hot tub, a luxury Spa Alila – all with panoramic Pacific Ocean and lagoon views.
