Viking has introduced nearly 1,000 new European river cruise departure dates for its 2023 program. The departures are across a range of itineraries along the Rhine, Main, Danube, and Russian and Douro rivers including Viking’s Grand European itinerary from Amsterdam to Budapest.Viking says the capacity influx is a “sure sign of a strong global return to cruising”.“This is the first time we have opened a whole season this far in advance,” said Michelle Black, Managing Director of Viking Australia/New Zealand.
“It is definitely a positive indication of global demand and the return to cruise that we have all been waiting for. This early release also presents a great opportunity for our Australian and New Zealand guests to forward plan well into 2023 while we patiently wait for our borders to open,” Black said.
Viking released its 2022/2023 River Cruises brochure in January 2021. For the first-time, the brochure featured two seasons – a full 2022 season and select 2023 departure dates, allowing agents and their clients to plan and book further ahead than ever before. All dates can be found online at vikingrivercruises.com.au, and in the online brochure which can be accessed here. For additional information, see vikingcruises.com.au
