Having just announced a new addition to the Curio Collection by Hilton in Sardinia (opening next year), Hilton has now revealed plans to launch the Conrad Chia Laguna Sardinia in 2022.Both properties will be located in southern Sardinia at the Chia Laguna, renowned for its pristine nature, golden sandy beaches and coastline lagoons home to flocks of pink flamingos.As the brand’s debut hotel in Italy, Conrad Chia Laguna Sardinia will be the latest addition to a growing collection of nearly 40 Conrad Hotels & Resorts around the world, including existing hotels in the Algarve, Abu Dhabi, London, Washington, DC and Singapore.

Conrad Chia Laguna Sardinia will be a family-friendly resort inspired by Sardinia’s local history and culture. Hotel Laguna – Chia Laguna will undergo an extensive renovation that will update and enhance all guest rooms, common areas, restaurants and bars to be in line with Conrad’s refined yet contemporary brand aesthetic.The hotel will have 107 guest rooms, all featuring a private garden or terrace, with the majority offering panoramic views of the entire Chia lagoon. There will be two restaurants, a lounge and a poolside bar. La Terrazza restaurant will feature outdoor panoramic terrace seating with a view of Chia Laguna. Sa Mesa, meaning “the table” in local Sardinian dialect, will be the hotel’s signature restaurant offering authentic Sardinian cuisine and an extensive selection of local wines from small local producers in an informal trattoria style setting. Bar Bollicine will serve as the hotel’s all-day bar and lounge, where guests can enjoy an extensive collection of Champagnes and Proseccos, as well as cocktails with a modern twist.
The hotel’s vast Conrad Spa will span over 1,000 square metres and will include six treatment rooms, a spa bar, a yoga studio and a state-of-the-art gym.
