Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants has officially opened its first property in France. Kimpton St Honoré Paris has been developed within a 1917 Art Nouveau building and formerly a 1900s department store, located in the Parisian Opera District, a stone’s throw from Place Vendôme, the Paris Opera, Faubourg St Honoré and the Tuileries Gardens.The 123 guest rooms and 26 suites are inspired by Parisian apartments with balconies, floor-to-ceiling windows and selected works of art adding a splash of Kimpton’s bold design and Parisian chic to the hotel’s interiors.
On the ground floor of the hotel is Montecito Restaurant & Bar, offering a contemporary take on a relaxed brasserie influenced by the multicultural cuisine of America’s Pacific West Coast. The hotel’s casual rooftop bar and garden, Sequoia, offers 360° views over the rooftops of Paris and its emblematic monuments such as the Eiffel Tower and Opéra Garnier.The hotel has an indoor heated swimming pool, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, and a spa run by French brand CODAGE.As with all Kimpton hotels, there are bikes available for guests to borrow to explore the city and Kimpton St Honoré Paris has partnered with a local, family-owned specialist bicycle shop, La Roue Libre, moments away from the hotel.
