American Cruise Lines has launched its newest modern riverboat, American Melody.The 91-room American Melody is currently sailing the line’s longest Mississippi River voyage – the 22-Day Complete Mississippi River Cruise.The voyage had originally been scheduled to operate from New Orleans to St. Paul but was rerouted due to Hurricane Ida, with guests embarking in Natchez.

American Melody has a capacity of 175-passengers and features a multi-level sky-lit atrium, spacious indoor and outdoor lounges, a grand dining room as well as a casual outdoor café, a fitness centre, and a Skywalk on the top deck which features an ellipse cutout dramatically cantilevered over the ship’s fourth deck.All staterooms, singles, and suites feature private balconies.Until the end of December 2021, American Melody will also operate several of American’s popular 8- Day Upper Mississippi River cruises between St. Louis and St. Paul, along with an 8-Day Lower Mississippi River cruises, holiday cruises for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve and more.
American Melody is the American Cruise Line’s second new modern riverboat to be delivered this year and the fourth in the cruise line’s growing Mississippi fleet.
