Emerald Cruises has confirmed its first of two superyachts, Emerald Azzurra, has commenced sea trials ahead of the vessel’s official delivery and upcoming launch in early 2022.Emerald Azzurra‘s sea trials are being conducted by the vessel’s construction company, Vietnam’s Halong Shipbuilding Company and the Scenic Group engineers over the next week in open water.

Angus Crichton, Director sales, marketing, sales and product – ANZ, told LATTE: “It’s great to have her free from the shipyard and out doing what she was designed to do, superyacht the ocean. We’re excited to get our first guests on board soon to really show what Emerald Cruises superyachting is about.”88% of Emerald Azzurra‘s 50 suites feature private balconies, including the top-of-the-line 108 square-metre Owner’s Suites which come with a private terrace.The seven-deck, 100-passenger luxury yacht will operate in the Adriatic, Eastern and Western Mediterranean and the Red Sea in its inaugural season. Its sister ship, Emerald Sakara, has started being built at the same shipyard recently and will be ready for launching in Seychelles in early 2023.
