Abercrombie & Kent Australia (A&K) has named Debra Fox as its new Managing Director for Tour Operations (outbound).Fox succeeds Graham Wood who was holding the position on an interim basis following the departure of Sujata Raman, A&K’s former Regional Managing Director, Australia/Pacific in May last year after 31 years with the luxury travel and tourism operator.

With more than 30 years of in-depth experience across the travel industry, Fox’s most recent venture was her own business consultancy, The Inspire Collective. Prior to that, Fox spent 17 years at the APT Travel Group, working in senior roles throughout the business including the positions of Chief Commercial Officer and Global Head Sales & Marketing. Her career also included roles with American Express, Traveland and Thomas Cook.“I am delighted to welcome Deb to the A&K team,” said Kerry Golds, Group Managing Director UK and Australia.
“Deb brings with her an enviable record of leadership, business growth and organisational success.”
“I look forward to working closely with her to ensure the continued growth of A&K Australia,” Golds said.Fox will join the business in May, collaborating closely with Wood who will continue in the role of Managing Director for A&K Australia, Destination Management Company.
