Silversea continues to develop and expand its regional workforce with the recruitment of Cassandra Kerr to the newly created role of Strategic Business Development for Asia Pacific. Kerr’s appointment follows the recent hiring of Phillipa Walker as Marketing Director, Asia Pacific.Kerr has 20 years’ travel and tourism industry experience with prior positions in aviation, hospitality and most recently infrastructure where she was most recently Senior Manager, Market and Industry Development at Sydney Airport.Subscribe to LATTE Cruise’s free eNewsletter to keep up to date with everything in the luxury cruise space.Her previous leadership roles within the industry, both in Australia and abroad, included head of MICE business development for IHG Australia and New Zealand, before joining Virgin Atlantic to spearhead growth of the airline’s global corporate business and implementation of the joint venture with Delta Air Lines.
