EDITION Hotels’ first Italian property has opened in the capital, a few steps from Via Veneto and Bernini’s Tritone Fountain in Piazza Barberini. The Rome EDITION features 91 rooms and suites and offers a signature restaurant with outdoor dining space; a Punch Room Bar with crafted cocktails; and a Rooftop Terrace where guests can have the choice of a seasonal bite, a drink overlooking the city, a private gathering with friends, or all of the above. The hotel is housed within a historical building designed by Cesare Pascoletti in collaboration with architect Marcello Piacentini. It was formerly occupied by one of the main Italian banks. Now transformed into a luxury hotel, the dramatic 7 metre ceilings of the lobby, and porous travertine floors and walls are a show-stopper.

The secluded spot features a large bar area, a travertine plunge pool haloed by daybeds.
