VIKING ATON SHIP OF THE MONTH WEEK 2 OF 4

Purpose-built to navigate the Nile and sail Viking’s bestselling Pharaohs & Pyramids itinerary, the new, state-of the-art Viking Aton is inspired by Viking’s award-winning river and ocean ships with the elegant Scandinavian design for which Viking is known. Viking Aton joins Viking Osiris, which launched in 2022.In addition to Viking Aton and Viking Osiris, identical sister ships Viking Hathor and Viking Sobek, are under construction and will be delivered in 2024 and 2025, respectively.There is no better time or place to tantalise the tastebuds than when travelling, which is why Viking’s talented chefs are dedicated to creating unique dishes that reflect the destinations your clients are visiting, as well as some timeless classics.All meals on board their river cruises are carefully prepared by their Swiss-trained chefs using the freshest ingredients. And whether they’re dining in the main restaurant or al fresco in the Aquavit Terrace, they will always enjoy complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks with their onboard lunch and dinner services, as well as access to specialty coffees, teas and bottled water.

Restaurant

Gaze at breathtaking scenery through the Restaurant’s panoramic windows as you dine on regional specialties and contemporary cuisine. The atmosphere is casual yet elegant, with high-quality table linens, china, cutlery and glassware at every meal.

Aquavit Terrace

Revolutionary in concept and design, the Aquavit Terrace is a beautiful al fresco dining area at the bow of the ship. Combining the comfort of a lounge with the invigorating fresh air of a terrace, it is the perfect place to become one with the outdoors, to indulge in a delicious meal while you watch the picturesque sights of your new destination float by.
