PONANT is now including excursions on all voyages to offer a unique approach to each destination. Starting with Australasia’s Summer 2024-2025 season, including departures from October 2024 to April 2025, which have just opened for sale: 17 itineraries, 32 departures for Asia, Oceania, Antarctica and Northern Europe.

Already available across PONANT’s signature luxury polar and tropical expeditions itineraries in places such as the Kimberley, Antarctica, Japan or Greenland, daily excursions* are now included in other destinations such as the Mediterranean, North America’s Great Lakes, or the Caribbean.

From discovering local cultures and heritage, participating in supervised outdoor sports activities, attending cultural events, or enjoying free time for local discoveries in complete freedom, guests can now choose from a range of immersive onshore experiences, with one excursion included at each port of call.*

“At PONANT, we are constantly evolving to provide our guests with seamless and enriched experiences,” says Deb Corbett, General Manager Sales & Marketing for Asia Pacific. “This enhancement not only streamlines our offerings but also immerses our passengers in the heart of each destination’s culture and natural wonders even more, making every PONANT journey a captivating and uniquely enriching adventure.

As capacities are limited, pre-booking is due to open approximately two months before departure, and requests will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability. To find out which excursions are included, go directly to au.ponant.com and click the “Included Excursions” tab.

For those who would like to get off the beaten track or experience more exclusive activities, optional excursions with a surcharge will also be offered for each departure such as ice fishing, dogsledding, volcano exploration and more.

*Valid from Australasia’s Summer 2024-2025 for all PONANT voyages, excluding cruises on board the m/s Paul Gauguin. One excursion included per person and per stopover. Daily outings and excursions remain included across all polar and tropical expedition itineraries unless stated otherwise.
