Day 1-3: Cairo, Egypt Explore the best of Cairo – enjoy a camel ride while admiring the Great Sphinx and the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure. Marvel at the sprawling Citadel of the Mountain, and tour the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities.

Day 4-5: Luxor, Egypt Fly to Luxor and visit the Temples of Luxor and Karnak, then board your ship. Why not take an optional early morning hot air balloon ride over Luxor before visiting the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens enjoying Privileged Access to the tomb of Queen Nefertari.

Day 6: Qena, Egypt Enjoy a guided tour of the sprawling Dendera Temple Complex, including the fascinating Temple of Hathor.

Day 7: Esna, Egypt Explore the red sandstone Temple of Khnum during a guided tour. Then, if you wish, head to Esna Village for a full tour of the town and its lively market scene.

Day 8–9: Aswan, Egypt Visit the Aswan High Dam followed by a local market, take a scenic Nile cruise on a felucca, or join an optional excursion to Abu Simbel to admire the Great Temple of Ramses II. The next day, visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Philae Temple.

Day 10: Edfu, Egypt Ride in a horse-drawn calèche to the Temple of Horus, or you can choose to visit Edfu market with our resident chef.

Day 11: Luxor, Egypt Fly back to Cairo, then check into your hotel for one night. Take an optional tour to the Coptic Quarter and Jewish Synagogue.

Day 12: Cairo, Egypt After breakfast, disembark your ship. Why not extend your journey for four nights in Jordan to see the “lost city” of Petra.
