Virgin Voyages’ third ship, Resilient Lady, has commenced her 44-day repositioning journey from her current home port of Athens, Greece to her new home port in Port Melbourne, Australia.The repositioning voyage, which has also been broken up into smaller one-way voyages, will visit destinations including Dubai, Mumbai, Singapore and Bali along the way. Resilient Lady will be entering Australian waters via Darwin, dropping by Cairns, Airlie Beach and Sydney, before settling into Port Melbourne to experience her first Australian summer.

During her visit Down Under, Resilient Lady’s first season will see her sailing through must-see Aussie locations such as Melbourne, Sydney, Burnie and Hobart, as well as visiting some of New Zealand’s most sought-after destinations including Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Picton, Napier, Tauranga and Dunedin.

Match and Sea More

Avid travellers already enrolled in other cruise and select airline travel rewards programs have the opportunity to join Virgin Voyages’ loyalty program, The Sailing Club via the brand’s Match and Sea More program. Travellers will be able to match their current loyalty status and be granted Sea-Rover status and receive Deep Blue Extras on their very first voyage.The Match and Sea More program is only available for a limited time for bookings made through 31 December 2023, with perks available to be redeemed on voyages through 2024.

Details on Sea-Rover status and Deep Blue Extras:

Sea-Rover status: Sailors who sailed with Virgin Voyages twice between 1 January 2022, and 31 December 2023.

Deep Blue Extras: a collection of unrivaled luxuries that elevate Sailors to the VIP treatment including (but not limited to) perks like an exclusive cocktail event, access to dedicated Sailor Services support on-board, and a $100 Bar Tab credit on us — only available on sailings through 31 December, 2024.

Sailors who want to take advantage of the Match and Sea More Program can simply make a booking with a travel advisor and upload the information required to unlock their perks and apply them to their booking.
