Travel Associates has seen a surge in bookings to the Big Apple thanks to its exclusive 2024 partnership with New York City Tourism + Conventions.Speaking at a recent sold-out event to inspire Adelaide clients to visit NYC, GM Rachel Kingswell reported a 48% uplift in bookings and 36% increase in passenger numbers to the city year on year during key partnership periods.“New York City is a real bucket list destination for so many of our clients, with so many new luxury experiences on offer which we have proudly brought to life through our exclusive 2024 partnership with New York City Tourism + Conventions,” she said.“Our partnership has inspired many of our clients to visit New York City in 2024.”

Hosted by Australian lifestyle influencer Jess Dover, the event saw more than 85 guests gather at the Sofitel Adelaide to hear her personal recommendations from her own trip to New York City, which was planned by the model’s travel advisor Danica Scott from Travel Associates Norwood.Meanwhile, Kingswell highlighted immersive events such as this as an important part of Travel Associates’ strategy.“Giving clients the opportunity to connect with our advisors in a beautiful location, coupled with flowing drinks, delicious canapes and on-the-night travel offers has been a recipe for success,” she said.“Many of our clients are heading over to enjoy a White Christmas in New York this year, and we can’t wait to curate beautiful itineraries to the city for even more clients in 2025.”
