Azamara Cruises has appointed Robert Shaw as the new Trade Partnerships Manager and Sales Analyst for its Australian local team. With over a decade of experience in the cruise industry, Shaw brings extensive expertise in sales, partnerships and account management to the role.Prior to joining Azamara, Shaw had worked as the dedicated Windstar Cruises Sales Manager at Travel The World since January 2023, where he demonstrated exceptional skills in building strong relationships and driving sales for the luxury cruise brand. Before that, he had a successful 10-year tenure at Royal Caribbean, serving as an Account Manager, where he was responsible for managing key accounts and delivering exceptional service to clients across the region.In his new role at Azamara, Shaw will focus on cultivating trade partnerships and providing valuable sales analysis to help drive business growth and strengthen the brand’s position in the market.

Victoria Chigwidden Director of Sales for Azamara Cruises said she is thrilled to have Shaw join the Australia operation, stating he will complement the existing team and most importantly allow the boutique cruise brand to provide more support to the local trade.In addition to the Trade Partnership role the local call centre has also expanded to ensure Azamara provides enough support to the trade with the upcoming wave season.“Azamara Cruises is renowned for its boutique-style cruises, offering unique, immersive travel experiences to destinations around the world.
