Global luxury travel design network, Traveller Made, has reached its threshold for the number of Buyers accepted to the inaugural Essence of Phuket trade show.Announced in March, The Essence of Phuket will be the first of three regional annual shows conducted by the consortia in 2025, which is an evolution of long-running ‘The Essence of Luxury Travel’ multi-day event that has been held most recently in Marbella, Spain.The Essence of Phuket will be hosted at SAii Laguna and Banyan Tree Phuket, between 3-7 March 2025. The group is now fine tuning the regional balance of the Phuket event.Diana Nuber, Commercial Director, Traveller Made said the upcoming event will share a similar ratio of member travel designers in attendance from Europe, North and South America, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. Member designers from both Traveller Made’s Serandipians community and the recently introduced membership base, Takumians, will be attending the event as Buyers.
Registrations for supplier Partners opened in mid-November and several of the luxury network’s Middle-East and Asia-Pacific partners have signed-up. Registrations will close in early January for Suppliers.Each of the three regional ‘Essence’ events will gather regional suppliers and international buyers. The Essence of Phuket is the first to take place outside of Europe – the network’s birthplace.Quentin Desurmont, CEO and Founder of Traveller Made, said: “It is time for our shows to become as international as our Members and Partners.“Our two communities, Serandipians and Takumains, have member agencies from 77 countries on all continents and partners from even more countries.
“It is a natural step in our desire to be closer to our members and partners globally,” Desurmont said.
