Starting in April 2026, a selection of AmaWaterways’ European river cruises will include Smithsonian-designed experiences. The 33 sailings will also offer various pre- and post-cruise land packages, all hosted by an AmaWaterways cruise manager.

“What sets AmaWaterways apart is our commitment to creating truly immersive experiences,” AmaWaterways Co-Founder and President Rudi Schreiner said.

“By combining our expertise in river cruising with Smithsonian’s dedication to cultural and educational exploration, we offer travellers a unique opportunity to gain deeper insights into local history, traditions and ways of life, all while enjoying the exceptional comfort and service aboard our ships.”

The itineraries, which range from eight to 15 days in length, include: Holland and Belgium in Spring: A River Cruise at Tulip Time; Cruising the Upper Danube: Romantic Ports from Bavaria to Budapest; Cruising the Lower Danube: Gems of Southeast Europe; The Grand Danube: A River Cruise from Germany to Romania; Christmas Markets along the Danube: A River Cruise from Nuremburg to Budapest; Christmas Markets along the Rhine: A River Cruise from Amsterdam to Basel; The Captivating Rhine: A River Cruise from Amsterdam to Basel; Europe’s Magnificent Waterways: Cruising the Rhine, Main, and Danube River; Cruising Portugal’s Enticing Douro River Valley; Rhône River Cruise: Colors of Provence; Along the Seine: A River Cruise from Paris to Normandy; and Taste of Bordeaux: Cruising the Waterways of Southwest France.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1610931995138{margin-bottom: 10px !important;}”][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1610931970624{margin-bottom: 10px !important;}”]Subscribe to LATTE Cruise’s free eNewsletter to keep up to date with everything in the luxury cruise space.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1579214156361{margin-bottom: 10px !important;}”]
