Lufthansa Group General Manager Australia Anil Rodricks will depart his role to pursue new interests outside the aviation industry, The Walshe Group has confirmed.Rodricks, who oversees Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa, SWISS, Brussels Airlines and Eurowings Discover, will serve his last day on 31 October.“We are grateful to Anil for his dedication, leadership, and professionalism over the past two decades,” The Walshe Group Managing Director Jacqui Walshe said.“His deep knowledge of the aviation landscape, commitment to excellence, and long-standing relationships have made a lasting impact on our business, our airline partners, and the wider travel industry in Australia.”With an aviation journey that spans decades, Rodricks joined The Walshe Group in 2002 following the establishment of SWISS International Air Lines and the appointment of The Walshe Group as its General Sales Agent in Australia.Since then, Rodricks has played a pivotal role in growing SWISS’ market share and overseeing its successful integration into the Lufthansa Group network in 2014.The coming months will see The Walshe Group work closely with Lufthansa Group to manage the transition and ensure a seamless handover. Further details regarding Rodricks’ successor will be shared in due course.
