Virtuoso has named Karen Hardie as its new General Manager Canada, following the recent promotion of Una O’Leary to the role of Vice President Global Partnerships.Hardie has held senior roles across multiple international markets including Canada, the US, Australasia and Europe. In 2016, she was named one of Canada’s Most Powerful Women by the Women’s Executive Network.“Karen brings a combination of deep industry expertise, strategic vision and a strong commitment to the success of our members, advisors and partners in Canada,” Virtuoso’s Senior Vice President Global Operations Michael Londregan said.“Her ability to build high-impact relationships, drive performance and lead with credibility makes her the ideal candidate to accelerate Virtuoso’s growth in Canada, while strengthening our global influence.”Hardie’s career includes significant leadership positions with Rocky Mountaineer, where she most recently served as Vice President, Global Sales. Prior to that, she held the roles of Director Global Sales Operations and Director of Sales for the US and Mexico. Her earlier career features executive roles at Jetset Travelworld Group and Orion Expedition Cruises in both North America and Australia.In her new position, Hardie will be responsible for developing and executing the regional business strategy across Canada with a focus on expanding Virtuoso’s member and partner base while deepening engagement within the region.She will be based in Vancouver and will officially begin her new role on 16 June 2025, reporting directly to Londregan.
