The debut of two hotels in Lima, Peru from IHG Hotels and Resorts’ luxury and lifestyle brands represents a key milestone in the hospitality giant’s expansion into South America.The dual opening of InterContinental Real Lima Miraflores and Hotel Indigo Lima Miraflores, both in Lima’s popular Miraflores district, aims to appeal to visitors as well as locals.“We are before something truly extraordinary: a dual opening with one of our most celebrated brands, InterContinental, where it was born over 75 years ago on South American soil, complemented by Hotel Indigo, a younger brand that excels in delivering local flair,” Jorge Apaez, Chief Operating Officer for Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean at IHG Hotels & Resorts, said.

Fernando Poma, Executive Director of Real Hotels & Resorts explained that the project represents the expansion of the company’s horizons into the Southern Hemisphere.“Through many years of work, a solid partnership with IHG has provided us with the experience and knowledge to take this firm and decisive step. We know this is the right time and location for it,” he said.

InterContinental Real Lima Miraflores is an elegant 21-storey hotel with 321 rooms, including 29 luxury suites, all with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. In addition to its signature Club InterContinental lounge, it features the destination’s largest outdoor hotel infinity pool.Meanwhile, Hotel Indigo Lima Miraflores offers 76 rooms, including 10 suites, with a rooftop pool and lounge offering panoramic city views. This strategic combination in Lima is conveniently located near the neighbourhoods of Barranco and San Isidro and just across from the Larcomar shopping centre.
