The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has appointed Patrick Mitchell to the role of Senior Vice President, Global Sales, effective immediately. Based in Fort Lauderdale, Mitchell takes over from Kristian Anderson who stepped down from the role suddenly in May.Mitchell most recently served as Vice President, Global Brand & eCommerce for hospitality brand Sonder Inc for four years. (Based in Los Angeles, Sondor is now part of the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program.) His career prior to that role included tenures with Cathy Pacific for 18 months, four years at Club Med, nearly three years at Norwegian Cruise Lined Holdings and over eight years at Royal Caribbean Cruises.

“I’m excited to return home to South Florida and the cruise industry where it all began,” Mitchell said. “Closing the circle feels so right and I am honoured and blessed to represent such an iconic brand in The Ritz-Carlton, now at sea.”“I look forward to championing the sales process and integrating with our marketing partners to drive accelerated revenue results,” Mitchell said on social media.
