Heritage Line has heralded a “new chapter” of sailing the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Halong Bay by charting a course into the lesser-known waters of Bai Tu Long Bay starting January 2026.The luxury cruise operator will debut a newly curated two-night cruise program in this pristine region, which Heritage Line describes as “almost unknown” to travellers to this day. With this fresh itinerary, the company is promising guests a return to a more authentic “back to the roots” experience. It will be operated by small boutique ship Violet, with the vessel to no longer cruise the classic Halong Bay routes as it becomes the flagship for this new adventure in Bai Tu Long.
